info
I have been working as a Secondary Special Education teacher at Nixa High School, beginning the 2014-15 school year. At Nixa High School, I specialize in providing functional life skills instruction for students with intellectual disabilities and autism. In 2018, I received my MSed through the Secondary Special Education & Transition program at the University of Kansas. With this program I have expanded my professional knowledge in the development of transition plans, transition assessment, interagency collaboration, career development, and federal legislation pertaining to special education services and transition.
